Waihi Family Doctors is pleased to announce that from the 1st of October we will be a Very Low Cost Access (VLCA) funded practice. This means we will receive extra funding to make going to the doctor more affordable.
ADULTS will pay $17.50 for routine appointments
ZERO fees will continue for under 18's.
After Hours charges will remain the same.
Practice Manager Raewyn Norman has been keen to obtain this funding for years, and is extremely pleased that this funding will benefit the entire Waihi community.
From the time Waihi Family Doctors opened we have been actively focused on providing affordable health care for all our patients including in afterhours and the weekend, where we have been the only local practice charging a flat fee incusive of all patients registered at the other local practices.
