Covid update November

NOVEMBER 2022 UPDATE

We are continuingly updating our processes to keep in line with the current guidelines  to keep our patients and staff safe.    We will continue to offer virtual appointments as a permanent option. 
 Anyone with current respiratory symptoms will not be able to enter the building (we can offer you a  phone consult, or arrange for you to be seen in the Red stream - Please do a RAT test before being seen if you have some at home. 
COVID19 testing information can be found here.  We are not a RAT distribution point - RAT tests can be requested via this website or over the phone: 0800 222 478, choose option 3 (8am-8pm, 7 days a week).
If you have had a +RAT test and are unsure how to upload the results we recommend you look at the official COVID19 website  and also visit the health hub.    Excellent information on managing symptoms can be found at health navigator both for adults and children. (all data free websites)

Visitors to our area during weekdays will need to access care at Accident and Healthcare, 2nd Ave Tauranga, or via the Te Korowai GP clinic run at Thames Hospital.
For after hours care over public holidays & Weekends if you are a registered patient of a local practice please ring your usual  clinic number and you will be transferred to their AH triage service.  Visitors can access healthcare via Healthline on 0800 611 116. 
Our phones may be overloaded at times - please be patient - we are here for you. Consider emailing us if it is a non urgent enquiry (ie prescriptions or  non urgent appointments)
